Exfoliate with Pomegranates
By Naomi Kenan Published: 12/04/2009
Fresh pomegranates, in season through January, are richer in antioxidants than red wine or green tea. So enjoy the fruit, seeds, or juice—or use it in an anti-aging facial scrub:
Slice off fruit’s crown, and then score rind into sections without cutting through. Place in water for 5-10 minutes. Break rind away from seeds; strain seeds. Blend 2 tablespoons seeds and 1 cup uncooked oatmeal in food processor; transfer to bowl. Stir in 2 tablespoons each of honey and buttermilk. Apply to face for several minutes, rinse—and look glorious!
